Things I’m Loving Lately – May 17

Hello everyone, I hope that you have had a good week? I don’t usually do these types of posts but there are so many things that I’m absolutely loving lately, I feel the need to share!

There’s all sorts of good stuff in here for fitness, beauty, music and more! So, let’s get to it.

Podcast

The Buddhism Guide.  I stumbled across this as I was looking for a meditation podcast and this came back in the results. The episodes are short, around 8 minutes each but ive been listening to nothing else for the past week. It teaches about cultivating patience, how to deal with emotions, why should we meditate and other similar spiritual and thinking philosophies.  I find it really refreshing and I enjoy this kind of deep thinking and mindfulness, I also find it extremely relaxing, which is an added bonus!

Beauty

I recently purchased this Mario Badescu rose face spray after learning about it from one of my favourite beauty YouTubers Shani Grimmond.  It’s so refreshing and hydrating I pretty much use it all day, before and after make up, and throughout the day as I feel the need.

App

My husband and I love Spain and eventually want to live there one day, everyone has a dream right? My husband came across this app and ive been obsessed with it ever since! Its called Memrise and it teaches you a language, but in a very fun/game like way. It suggests learning 5 words a day and then nudges you each day when its time to learn, genius!

Music

I’ve recently come across R.Carlos Nakai and I find it so spiritual and relaxing. If I manage to get 15 minutes to spend by myself ill put this on and I’m instantly relaxed.  Take a look here if this is something you would be interested in.

Fitness

If you are interested in power lifting and getting strong then fellow coach Chrissy King has released her Power Conditioning program. Focusing on the big 3 lifts (bench, squat and deadlift). If you are interested, take a look here.

Food

I have salmon at least once a week. It’s easy to make and packed full of essential fatty oils which are great for your skin and hair. I like to simply pan fry it, this week I added freshly ground cumin seeds, sea salt, pepper and olive oil. I served it with roasted asparagus and some pickled cucumber. For the pickled cucumber I mixed a tablespoon of vinegar with a teaspoon of honey and added the shaved cucumber, delicious!

What would you like to see more of?

I hope you found some useful things in here. I always want to provide useful information and add value to your life so why don’t you let me know what you’d like to see? Is there anything specific you would like to see in my posts? Or let me know which posts you enjoy the most?

Id love to hear from you.

Much love,

Kellie xo
