Teriyaki Beef Skewers

This is such a simple recipe, but the outcome is so delicious and looks like you spent ages in the kitchen. It has a whopping 33g of protein per serving and is also super healthy as it uses lean beef and is grilled.

I like to serve this with some spicy rice (basmati, spiced with a little cayenne and then fried with a little olive oil, garlic, chilli and soy sauce for seasoning). You can also serve with a salad (try Roasted Broccoli Salad or some roasted greens).

Instructions
  1. Mix together the teriyaki, garlic, tomato puree and sugar then add the beef. Cover and marinade for at least an hour or as long as possible (overnight is preferable).
  2. Once the beef is marinaded, skew onto skewers alternating with the onion.
  3. Once you have prepared the kebabs, cook under a hot grill for about 15 minutes turning frequently until nicely charred on the outside but still nice and sift on the inside.
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander and sesame seeds.
Recipe Notes

For the Teryaki Sauce we use this one from Kikkoman.
