Protein Overnight Oats (Proats) Recipes

You may have heard of Overnight Oats but have you heard of Protein Overnight Oats or Proats? The addition of whey protein is what gives these an extra protein hit.

You may already know that oats are incredibly nutritious, they’re rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fibre. They’re also gluten-free, high in protein and an unrefined complex carb, which means they keep you fuller for longer which can help with weight loss.

All of these benefits are what makes oats the perfect breakfast food, but you could also have these for a healthy dessert alternative.

Aswell as being good for you, they can also be extremely delicious if you add the right toppings. I like to use vanilla whey protein powder, but you can substitute for any flavoured powder you like, or omit altogether.

  • Cocoa Nibs

  • Honey to drizzle

Of course, you can substitute with whatever toppings you like 🙂

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a jar (see products shown that I used from Amazon). Store in the fridge over night. Before serving add your topping of choice. Enjoy!
