  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius and line or oil an 8×8 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl mix together all of the dry ingredients (except the protein powder).
  3. In a small saucepan mix together the remaining wet ingredients swell as the protein powder and heat on low until it melts and comes together.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well. Transfer to the baking dish and use wet hands to flatten so it covers the base well.
  5. Bake for approx 15 minutes until well golden. Cool before cutting. The bars should be nice and chewy. Store for up to 10 days in an airtight container in the fridge or for a month in the freezer.
