I love making protein bars as I find them incredibly easy to make and perfect to snack on throughout the day. I find that store-bought protein bars tend to be quite fluffy with no real texture to them. I like to add texture to mine with nuts and chewy fruits, that’s why these Ginger & Raisin Protein Bars are so good. I also use a small amount of bran flakes in this recipe which also adds texture aswell as a good amount of fibre.
These protein bars use crystallised ginger, which is sweet but fiery aswell which gives these bars a bit of personality!
Make them in advance and use any our meal plan as your snacks for the week.
