Easy No Bake Protein Bar Recipe

This easy no bake protein bar recipe is so simple it can be done in 15 minutes flat if you omit the chocolate! These are made with peanut butter and whey protein so they are packed with 10g of protein per bar.  The vanilla extract gives them a delicious sweet and satisfying flavour. There’s also some rice cereal in here which gives a little added crunch!

Make these at the weekend and you have your perfect protein snack for the week ahead!

Instructions
  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl
  2. In a saucepan add the wet ingredients (apart from the vanilla extract) and heat until the mixture is runny
  3. Add the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and combine well (add in the vanilla extract)
  4. Press into a loaf tin or tin of your choice and press down firmly with a rolling pin or back of a spoon
  5. Leave to chill in the fridge for minimum 30 minutes
  6. Optional: Melt chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, spoon over the protein bar mixture which has set
  7. Chill for another 30 minutes and then cut into bars
  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for approx 2 weeks
