Banana & Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Banana & peanut butter is such a great combination. If you haven’t tried it, you need to try these protein bars! They’re so delicious, and with 10g of protein per bar, they’re a perfect pre or post gym snack.

Make these in advance and keep in an airtight container in the fridge for about 10 days, or in the freezer for up to 4 weeks.

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180c. Mix together the oats and the coconut oil and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Leave to cool.
  2. Once the oats have cooled, put into a large bowl. Mix in the dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix together until a paste is formed. You may need to use your hands.
  4. Press down into a lined baking sheet to about a 1/2 inch layer. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
  5. Cut into bar shapes whilst still warm and then leave to cool.
  6. Store in an airtight container either in the fridge or in the freezer. Enjoy!
